Product Description

CT Engineering has developed a Supercharger Kit for the Honda Civic-Si that increases power by approximately 40-50 horsepower at the wheels. The supercharger uses an “Eaton-type” design that provides consistent boost and compresses the intake charge efficiently with a minimal increase in the intake air temperature. This combination provides almost instant boost that increases low and midrange torque for excellent throttle response.

The kit comes complete with cast aluminum supercharger manifolds, all mounting brackets, and all necessary hardware. The kit is completely “bolt-on”, and requires no major modifications, so the car can easily be returned to stock.

All CT Engineering Supercharger Systems are 50 state emissions legal and include a CARB decal for street use in California.

Product enhancements: Additional power and engine response is available with the addition of an Intake, Header, and Exhaust System.

Daily driven for 10K miles and lots of fun, Wednesday, October 20, 2010

Got the stage 2, very streetable. Wife drove and didn’t even realize the mod had been done. She stated, “Wow I don’t remember it being so peppy!!” We later raced, she was pissed that her BMW 540i (V8) was no longer the fastest car in the family.

I did the install myself, easy instructions, and would think nearly anyone who has turned a wrench a few times in their life could do it.

I initially put too much tension on the serpentine belt and damaged two idler pulleys. This mistake cost about 180 bucks.

I have not dyno tuned it yet, currently running the Hondata base tune. I think some detail work on the dyno will result in even better drivability and improved mileage as it is very fat right now…good for safety of the engine though.

Fast? yea… the fastest no, but I drive it every day at least 50 miles and consider it a family car, dropping the kids off to school, and on weekends going to the 1/8th mile and having some fun. Went through the first set of front tires in two months, so it has way more than most need.

Other mods: header, cold air intake, dyno max big block muffler (very quiet), Amsoil syncromesh gear box lube…a must!! May need eventually a clutch, on the ragged edge of acceptable with a stock one, but so far ok!!
